Nature Walk for Therapists with Ari Leach

Blackbird Guide Services

Friday November 21st, 10:00AM-12:00PM

Crystal Spring Farm, Brunswick, ME

Connection.  With other therapists…with nature…with diverse voices.  Join us for a morning in community and exploration.

Workshop Description

Join Registered Maine Guide Ari Leach of Blackbird Guide Services for a morning of quiet reflection and nature connection. You will enjoy a slow paced walk around Crystal Spring Farm, with offerings of reflections on the changing of the seasons, what it means to slow down, and how we can all learn from the nature that surrounds us.

Ari will also be sharing their experiences with barriers to access to nature for the LGBTQIA+ community, and how we can support more equal access for all.

Please bring appropriate footwear for walking on uneven ground, dress in layers, and feel free to bring water, snack, and anything else that will help you to feel comfortable over the course of our two hour exercise. You may also want to bring binoculars in case our feathered friends are active.

Date and Location

Friday, November 21st, 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Meet at Crystal Spring Farm on Pleasant Hill Road in Brunswick, ME.

Cost and Registration

$25-35 per person, sliding scale.  Registration happens through Elemental Counseling/Corie Washow, but all money collected goes to Ari Leach, the facilitator.

“Nature teaches us that our work has to be nuanced and steadfast. And more than anything, that we need each other—at our highest natural glory—in order to get free.”
